That’s where I come in.
I’m Matt Lyness, an experienced fire safety inspecting officer and fire risk assessor, with 25 years of front-line firefighting and regulatory fire service experience I understand the requirements placed upon the Responsible Person by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
My role as an inspecting officer and trainer of fire safety inspectors for a large metropolitan fire service gives me a unique insight into how these regulations are enforced in the real world.
